System szwajcarski na EPL-u będzie różnił się od tego znanego z Majorów
System szwajcarski używany w ESL Pro League S21 będzie znacznie różnił się od tego używanego na Majorach. Początkowe rozstawienie opiera się na rozstawieniu wybranym przez drużyny, a nie na VRS i używamy ocen na żywo zamiast Buchholza. Oceny drużyn będą aktualizowane dynamicznie po każdym meczu, a jakość kombinacji meczowych będzie oceniana na podstawie ich ocen, a nie rozstawienia. Ponadto zdecydowaliśmy się na regularne pary drabinki (1 vs 16, 2 vs 15), aby określić mecze pierwszej rundy (zamiast 1 vs 9, 2 vs 10).
The Swiss system used at ESL Pro League S21 will differ significantly from that used at Majors. Initial seeding is based on team-selected seeding rather than VRS and we’re using Live Ratings instead of Buchholz. Team ratings will update dynamically after each match and the quality of matchup combinations will be evaluated based on their ratings, rather than seed. Additionally, we’ve opted for regular bracket pairings (1 vs 16, 2 vs 15) to determine first-round matchups (instead of 1 vs 9, 2 vs 10).
