Niedawno odszedł tata Andersa
Ostatniej środy mój tata w spokoju zasnął i odszedł z tego świata. Mieliśmy wczoraj własną ceremonię, w której uczestniczyli jego przyjaciele z lotnictwa, latający w formacji oddającej mu hołd. Wałczył z rakiem prostaty od bardzo długiego czasu i zdołał przeżyć dłużej, niż zakładali lekarze. Zdawał się nie żałować niczego i czuł, że w pełni wykorzystał życie, co było dla niego i dla nas wspaniałym darem. Kochał swoją rodzinę, naturę, samoloty, pociągi, muzykę i fotografię. Pominę tutaj osobiste przemyślenia, mam nadzieję, że wszyscy pamiętacie, by żyć sensownym życiem.
This last Wednesday the 11th my dad peacefully slept in and departed this world. We had our own kind of ceremony yesterday which involved amongst other things his aviation friends flying this Missing Man formation. He had been fighting prostate cancer for a very long time and managed to outlive the doctors expectations. As some kind of model for when the time comes, he seemed to have no regrets and a feeling that he had got the most out of life, that was a great gift to himself and to the rest of us. He loved his family, nature, airplanes And trains, music and photography. I'll skip the personal stuff here, hope you all remember to live meaningful lives, that really is maybe the only shield one has in the end.
